Self Employment With Limited Capital

Translate This Page

Do you want to be self-employed, to have your own business, be your own boss and be truly responsible for your future, to have your income based on the amount of effort that you put into a business.

Have all the businesses you looked at require a high front-end investment or they are MLM programs, that require you to "add to your downstream network" in order to make any money?

Perhaps and very likely, they are scams designed to make the concept originator very wealthy?

There is a business, which you can start on your own with a small capital investment! It’s not a scam, it’s not MLM, and it’s not real estate!

No matter what the economic conditions are, people have to eat. Not only do they have to, they want to. The business that I am presenting is in the food industry. Food concessions, vending carts and mobile catering vehicles are growing by leaps and bounds and it is an industry that you can enter with limited capital. For an investment of less than $5,000, you can have your own vending cart, providing you with your own business that, if you work hard can earn you a very good income. With an investment of $20,000, you can purchase a used concession trailer.

The old hotdog vending cart is still in existence, but with it has come a vast array of new foods and services. Italian ices, pizza, pretzels, ribs, and sausages, are only a few of the common foods now sold from vending carts. One of the more unique marketing techniques is vending carts that strictly cater organic foods.

The vending cart or food concession industry requires long hours and hard work. As with any business, success is not handed to you on a silver platter. One of the keys to success is location and in many cases finding the “right” location can be a very frustrating exercise. More and more venues are appearing. Large big box retailers are leasing vending cart space on their parking lots, because they see it as a customer draw. In the same manner, many car dealerships look to vending cart and food concession operators to draw customers to their facilities.

The business can be conveniently operated from your home, thereby reducing operating expenses.

Vending cart operators have also become creative in offering their services to family gatherings such as birthday parties and business events such as picnics.

It’s up to you. You can sit on your backside and keep saying that I want to be an entrepreneur or you can spend a few weeks investigating the mobile catering industry and what it has to offer. Who knows, in a few years you could be franchising your methods and menus to vending cart, or food concession operators across the country.
